Conflict and Resolution

Author's Note: I am writing about the conflict and resolution in the Hunger Games. I think that this writing piece could use some work but it is pretty good.

In my book, The Hunger Games, Katniss has a conflict with herself because she doesn’t know who she likes, Peeta or Gale.  During the games, she learns to love Peeta , but before the games she loved Gale. If that were me, I would be at a conflict with myself as well. But it goes way more than that... Katniss is against all of the other tributes, it’s an everyman for himself situation. In every book there is at least on conflict, in the hunger games, there is two. The first one is Katniss against herself, and the second one is Katniss against all the other tributes, except Peeta and Rue.

Peeta is a boy from District 12, just like Katniss. Peeta was there for Katniss,  in a way, when her father died. He gave her some burnt bread that was supposed to go to the pigs but he gave her some bread… These were hard times for everyone and when Peeta had given Katniss his bread, she had thanked him and went off to her own starving family, which wasn’t much to start with. She had her mom, Prim, the cat, and Prim’s goat.

Rue was a tribute from District 11. She was a 12 year old young girl who was chosen along with Thresh. Rue was killed by a boy from District 3.

My point is, no matter who Katniss loves, or who is trying to kill her. What matters is that she chooses the right path for her. Also a big contributing part is that she comes out of the games alive... Which she does.

The End!
