War. That is just one of the hardships that the colonists
had to face when coming to the new
world. Not only did the colonists have
to fight of the Native Americans that lived there, but the disease and
starvation as well. Starvation and disease had the most amount of deaths in
colonial America.
When you think of America, what do you think of?... The
stars and stripes? The wars? Or how about Freedom. We are one of the only
countries that have freedom. We have the freedom of speech. We have the freedom
of love. What else could we ask for?
Most of us have a roof over our heads, food on our table,
and a warm bed to sleep in. But we need to start thinking of those who don't
have all of the things that we have. Some in the country don't have a house to
call their own, or even a warm blanket to sleep in on a cold winter's night.
Those are the kind of things that we need to be thinking about.
